Founder & Executive Guide
Steve Shatrich created Colonial Institute from his extensive experience with people, organizations, culture, performance and change—and from the lessons that only a long Journey can teach. He spent 42 years in commercial banking and finance, with 32 years focused on executive leadership and sales strategy and performance serving individuals, teams and clients while creating cultures that matter.
Those experiences reinforced one lesson: regardless of title, responsibility or role, we influence the experience of others every day. That belief became part of the foundation of Colonial Institute and remains central to every Voyage.
Today, Steve brings executive experience together with timeless principles and historical perspective—creating the environment, asking the questions and giving people space to discover what the principles mean for them and their organization.
His purpose is to inspire and promote the leader within, and to positively impact the lives of those he serves.
